HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 77-1999RESOLUTION NO. 77-99 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT WITH KIMLEY HORN IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $75,165 FOR DESIGN OF THE TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT THE INTERSECTION OF HICKEY AND HILTON AVENUE AND AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 1998-99 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM BUDGET (CIP 99-7) WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into an agreement with Kimley Horn for design of the traffic signals at the intersection of Hickley Boulevard and Hilton Avenue; and WHEREAS, staff is requesting an appropriation of $80,000 from gas tax for this contract along with initial environmental assessment not included in the scope of work by this consultant. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby (1) authorizes an agreement with Kimley Horn in an amount not to exceed $75,165 for design of the traffic signals at the intersection of Hickey and Hilton Avenue and (2) an amendment to the 1998-99 Capital Improvement Program budget (CIP 99-7) adding $80,000 to the 1998-99 Capital Improvement Program budget for traffic improvements at Hickey/Hilton with funding from the Gas Tax. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the agreement on behalf of the City. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the 9th day of__ June , 1999 by the following vote: AYES: R.
