CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE CONSTRUCTION
CONTRACT FOR THE COMMERCIAL AVENUE
RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT TO G. BORTOLOTTO & CO./
RAMIREZ DEVELOPERS A.J.V. IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $1,404,670 AND AND AMENDING THE 1998-99
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM BUDGET (CIP 99-9)
WHEREAS, the City desires to award the construction contract to the lowest responsible
bidder, G. Bortolotto & Co./Ramirez Developers A.J.V. in an amount not to exceed $1,404,670.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco hereby awards the construction contract for the Commercial Avenue Reconstruction
Project to G. Bortolotto & Co./Ramirez Developers A.J.V. in an amount not to exceed
$1,404,670 and amends the 1998-99 Capital Improvement Program budget (CIP 99-9) to add
$120,000 of Sewer Enterprise Funds and $108,499 of Cycle 9 (STLPP) funds to the 1998-99
Capital Improvement Program budget for the Commercial Avenue Reconstruction Project.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the
23rd day of June , 1999 by the following vote:

Councilmembers Joseph A. Fernekes, Eugene R. Hullin, John
R. Penna~ Hayor Pro Tem Karyl Hatsumoto, and Hayor James L. Datzman.
