CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $2,274,600 TO G.E. CHEN
CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR PHASES XIX A&B OF THE
AIRCRAFT NOISE INSULATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City desires to award the construction contract to the lowest responsible
bidder, G.E. Chen Construction, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $2,274,600; and
WHEREAS, this project is funded 80% by grants from the Federal Aviation
Administration, and 20% by funds from our Memorandum of Understanding with San Francisco
International Airport and interest earned on those funds.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco hereby authorizes an award of contract in an amount not to exceed $2,274,600 to G.E.
Chen Construction, Inc. for the Phases XIX A&B of the Aircraft Noise Insulation Program.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the
23rd day of June , 1999 by the following vote:
