CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A REPORT OF ANNUAL SEWER RENTALS AND
CHARGES FOR 1999-2000 PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 14.12 OF THE SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE
WHEREAS, the City Council has given notice and on June 23, 1999, held a public
hearing as required by law on the subject sewer rates; and
WHEREAS, in May 1996, the City Council directed implementation of a three-year rate
adjustment to finance costs associated with the Water Quality Control Plant, including expansion
thereof; and
WHEREAS, the rates imposed and reflected in the Report of Annual Sewer Rentals and
charges are consistent with the three-year financing plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council, by a minimum two-
thirds vote, hereby adopts the Report of Annual Sewer Rentals and Charges for Fiscal Year 1999-
2000, and directs that the rates so established shall be collected on the official tax assessment,
roll, together with real property taxes, and that the amount shall constitute liens upon the
properties which shall be effective at the same time and to the same extent as is provided for by
law in the case of real property taxes, with like penalties for delinquencies.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the 23
day of June , 1999 by the following vote:

Councilmembers Joseph A. Fernekes, Eugene R. Hullin and John
R. Penna, Mayor Pro Tem gary1 Matsumoto, and Mayor James L. Datzman
NOES: none.
