CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT IN AN AMOUNT NOT
TO EXCEED $145,837.50 TO DUPONT FLOORING SYSTEMS FOR
THE MUNICIPAL SERVICES BUILDING CARPET REPLACEMENT
PROJECT AND AMENDING THE 1998-99 CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (99-11) BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF
$21,470.52
WHEREAS, the City desires to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, Du
Pont Flooring Systems in an amount not to exceed $145,837.50; and
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $146,242.61 are included in the Capital
Improvement Program budget for this project; and
WHEREAS, additional funding in the amount of $21,470.52 is needed for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby awards a contract in an amount not to exceed $145,837.50
to DuPont Flooring Systems for the M.S.B. Carpet Replacement Project and amends the 1998-99
Capital Improvement Program (99-11) budget in the amount of $21,470.52.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regul ar meeting held on the 11
_ day of August ,1999 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers doseph A. Fernekes,
Penna, Mayor Pro Tem Karyl
NOES: None.
ABSTAIN: None.
ABSENT: None.
