CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A
LIBRARY SERVICES AND TECHNOLOGY ACT GRANT IN THE
AMOUNT OF $20,000 AND AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO
THE 1999-2000 OPERATING BUDGET (NO. 00-1)
WHEREAS, staff desires to accept a Library Services and Technology Act grant
in the amount of $20,000; and
WHEREAS, this grant will fund the purchase of young adult materials; and
WHEREAS, purchases made under this grant award will be completed within the
City's 1999/2000 fiscal year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco hereby authorizes the acceptance of a Library Services and
Technology Act Grant in the amount of $20,000 and authorizes an amendment to the
1999-2000 Operating Budget (00-1) to add the grant funds to the Library Budget.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting
held on the 8th day of September ,1999 by the following vote:
