HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 6-1998-' RESOLUTION NO. 6-98 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION DEDICATING A REVENUE SOURCE TO THE REPAYMENT OF THE STATE REVOLVING FUND LOAN ON WATER QUALITY CONTROL PLANT EXPANSION PROJECT NO. C-06-4614-110 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE THE 1 OAN AGREEMENT BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that · 1. The City of South San Francisco hereby dedicates the following sources of revenue to the repayment of any and all State Revolving Fund loans on Water Quality Control Plant Expansion Project No. C-06-4614-110: connection charges, interest revenue, sewer-plant-related revenue from other agencies including San Bruno, Burlingame, Millbrae and the San Francisco International Airport, and sewer service charge revenue. These dedicated sources of revenue shall remain in effect until such loan or loans are fully discharged, unless modification or change of such dedication is approved in writing by the State Water Resources Control Board. 2. The City Manager of the City of South San Francisco or his designee is hereby authorized and directed to sign and file, for and on behalf of the City, a Financial Assistance Application for a loan/grant from State Water Resources Control Board in an amount not to exceed $44,000,000 for the design and construction of the Water Quality Control Plant Expansion Project No. C-064614-110. 3. The City hereby agrees and further does authorize the City Manager or his designee to certify that the Agency has and will comply with all applicable state and federal regulatory requirements related to any federal and state loan/grant funds received. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager of the City of South San Francisco, or his designee, is hereby authorized to negotiate and execute a State Revolving Fund loan contract and any amendment or change orders thereto on behalf of the City of South San Francisco. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a re§ul ar meeting held on the 14th day of January , 1998 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers James L.
