CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGES TO THE FIRE
MARSHAL/CHIEF BUILDING OFFICIAL AND ASSISTANT
FIRE MARSHAL CLASSIFICATIONS FROM A NON-
SAFETY TO SAFETY DESIGNATIONS AND UNIT
DFSIGNATIONS FOR THESE C!.ASSIFICATIONS
WHEREAS, staff desires to change the Fire Marshall/Chief Building Official and Assistant Fire
Marshall classifications from a non-safety to safety designated position.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that it hereby approves the change in designation for the Fire Marshal/Chief Building Official and the
Assistant Fire Marshal classifications from a non-safety to a safety designation.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco at a regu 1 a r meeting held on the 11 th day of bta rch ,
1998 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers James L. Datzman, Joseph A. Fernekes, Karyl
Matsumoto, John R. Penna and Mayor Eugene R. Mullin
