CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A BUDGET APPROPRIATION OF $15,000
FROM THE CONFERENCE CENTER UNDESIGNATED FUND BALANCE
TO THE FY 1997-98 OPERATIONS BUDGET TO FUND PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City Council, on June 27, 1997, approved the budget identified as the
"Conference Center Fiscal Year 1997-98 Budget" in the amount of $2,705,805 in revenue and $2,389,716
in expenditures and the budget identified as the" Conference Center Fiscal Year 1997-98 Fund Balance
and Designated / Undesignated Reserves" in the amount of $169,840 in capital expenditures, $60,000 in
City of South San Francisco General Fund loan payment expenditures, and $175,031 in designated
reserves; and
WHEREAS, the Conference Center undesignated fund balance is $221,884; and
WHEREAS, the Conference Center Authority, on March 18, 1998, approved making a request to
the City Council to appropriate $15,000 to the operations budget from the undesignated fund balance to
fund professional services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco as follows:
1. The appropriation of $15,000 to the South San Francisco Conference Center Fiscal Year 1997-98
operations budget from the South San Francisco Conference Center undesignated fund balance to fund
professional services is hereby approved by the City Council.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regu l ar meeting held on the 2~th day
March ,1998 by the following vote:
