CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION 'APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 1998-99
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT OPERATING BUDGET
( NO. 98-11) TO INCI.UDE FUNDS RECEIVED FROM SAN MATEO COUNTY
WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council approve a budget amendment to the 1998-99
CDBG operating budget to include funds in the amount of $18,080 received from San Mateo County; and
WHEREAS, this action is necessary in order to incorporate the funds into the current budget and
allow for expenditures to be billed against that account; and
WHEREAS, an added benefit to this funding strategy is to highlight the City's efforts in meeting
new federal requirements with regard to fair housing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that it hereby approves an amendment to the 1998-99 Community Development Block Grant
Operating budget (No. 98-11) to include funds in the amount of $18,080 received from San Mateo
County's HOME INVESTMENT PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM.

Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regu 1 a r meeting held on the 22nd day of_
