A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH ENVIRONMENTAL
SCIENCE ASSOCIATES (ESA) FOR AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
REPORT FOR THE MATERIALS RECOVERY FACILITY AND GARBAGE
TRANSFER STATION
WHEREAS, following a request for proposal process, staff recommends that Environmental
Science Associates (ESA) prepare the Environmental Impact Report for the Materials Recovery Facility
and Garbage Transfer Station.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the South San Francisco City Council as
1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to prepare and execute a contract with
Environmental Science Associates (ESA) in an amount not to exceed $180,287 for preparation of the
Materials Recovery Facility and Garbage Transfer Station EIR.
