CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
SUBMIT, EXECUTE AND CARRY OUT ALL STATE AND
FEDERALLY FUNDED GRANT APPLICATIONS AND/OR
GRANT-BASED AGREEMENTS
WHEREAS, as a condition for receiving Grant Funds from the State or Federal Government, a
resolution from the governing agency must authorize the submittal of each grant application and/or
grant-based agreement; and
WHEREAS, approval of this resolution would authorize the City Manager as the authorizing
agent to submit, execute, and implement any such an application and/or grant-based agreement
proposed to the State or Federal Government.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to submit, execute and implement
grant applications for both State and Federal Funds and to execute agreements for Grant-Based Funds.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a spec J a 1 meeting held on the 21 s t day
of duly ,1998 by the following vote:

Matsumoto, John R. Penna and Mayor Eugene
