CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
APPROVE AN AGREEMENT WITH EQE INTERNATIONAL, INC.
TO PROVIDE A SEISMIC VULNERABILITY, RISK AND
RELIABILITY ASSESSMENT FOR THE WATERWASTE SYSTEM
WHEREAS, staff desires the City Manager to approve an agreement with EQE International,
Inc. to provide a Seismic Vulnerability, Risk and Reliability Assessment for the Wastewater System;
and
and
WHEREAS, EQE International Inc. has quoted the City a cost of $80,000 for the assessment;
WHEREAS, funding is provided by the Water Quality Control Plant expansion project budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to approve an agreement with EQE
International, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $80,000 to provide a Seismic Vulnerability, Risk and
Reliability Assessment for the Wastewater System.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a s Dec 5 al meeting held on the 2 ls t day
of July ,1998 by the following vote:
