CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF A $10,000
GRANT AWARD FROM THE SAN FRANCISCO FOUNDATION AND
THE SUBMITTAL OF A FOLLOW-UP PROPOSAL TO THE
FOUNDATION FOR AN ADDITIONAL GRANT TO SUPPORT THE
DEVELOPMENT OF THE COMMUNITY LEARNING CENTER
WHEREAS, staff desires to accept a grant of $10,000 from the Koshland Program of the San
Francisco Foundation and approve the submittal of a second proposal for additional support for the start-up
costs to create the Community Learning Center; and
Center.
WHEREAS, a revenue account will be established in a trust fund for the Community Learning
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
hereby authorizes the acceptance of a $10,000 grant award from the San Francisco Foundation and the
submittal of a follow-up proposal to the foundation for an additional grant to support the development of the
Community Learning Center
