CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $3,382,198 TO RGW CONSTRUCTION FOR THE OYSTER
POINT BOULEVARD WIDENING PROJECT AND AMENDING THE 1997-
98 CAPITAL IMPROVING PROGRAM BUDGET (No. 98-25) TO ADD
$200.000 TO THE OYSTER POINT WIDENING PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City desires to award the construction contract to the lowest responsible
bidder, RGW Construction in an amount not to exceed $3,382,198; and
WHEREAS, the amount of $300,000 has been appropriated from the Downtown Central
Redevelopment and $4,300,000 has been appropriated from the Shearwater Redevelopment project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes an award of contract in an amount not to exceed
$3,382,198 to RGW Construction for the Oyster Point Boulevard Widening Project and amending the
1997-98 Capital Improving Program budget (No. 98-25) to add $200,000 to the Oyster Point Boulevard
Widening Project with funding from the Shearwater Redevelopment Funds.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a s peci a l meeting held on the 21 s t day
of duly ,1998 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers James L. Datzman, Joseph A. Fernekes,
Matsumoto, John R. Penna and Mayor Eugene R. Mullin
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: Nono
