CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN
AMENDMENT TO THE MASTER CONTRACTUAL SERVICES
AGREEMENT WITH CORLETT, SKAER & DeVOTO WITH
REGARD TO THE AIRCRAFT NOISE INSULATION PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco has entered into a Master Contractual Services
Agreement with Corlett, Skaer & DeVoto Architects (CSDA) for design and construction support services
in connection with the Aircraft Noise Insulation Program; and
WHEREAS, in 1997 the City Council approved Amendment No.2 to the agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco now wishes to amend the Master Contractual Services
Agreement in order to provide a per-unit fee reduction on the grounds that coming phases of the program
involve duplexes, triplexes and apartment buildings in order to revise and redefine the scope of work under
the agreement to include those multi-family units; and
WHEREAS, the cost of services will not exceed $1,185,000 without further authorization.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco,
1 .) The attached Amendment No.3 to the Master Contractual Services Agreement between the
City of South San Francisco and Corlett, Skaer & DeVoto Architects for design and construction support
services in connection with the Aircraft Noise Insulation Program for FY 1998-99 is hereby approved.
2.) The City Manager is authorized to execute on behalf of the City of South San Francisco
the attached Amendment No.3 to the Master Contractual Services Agreement with Corlett, Skaer &
DeVoto Architects.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a special meeting held on the llth day of
August
