A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING STORMWATER
MANAGEMENT SERVICE CHARGES TO PROVIDE
REVENUE FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE
STORMWATERMANAGEMENT PLAN FOR FISCAL
YEAR 1997-1998 AND APPROVING THE LEVY OF
ASSESSMENTS ON PROPERTIES IN SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO
WHEREAS, Municipal Code Chapter 14.04 enables the City to
levy charges for the local portion of the San Mateo County
Stormwater Management Program; and
WHEREAS, notices were published and a public hearing was
held on June 25, 1997 as required for the enactment of the
subject stormwater fees; and
WHEREAS, funding for the local program requires $393,506 and
will be provided from the fees collected under a strategy based
on a per parcel charge, according to the size of the parcel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco as follows:
A public hearing has been appropriately noticed and
conducted on June 25, 1997.
The Council hereby adopts the Stormwater Management
Service charge formula attached hereto as Exhibit
for fiscal year 1997-1998.
The fees set forth herein shall be made a part of the
Master Fee Schedule.
The ~Report of Stormwater Management Services Charges
for 1997-98" filed with the City Clerk in accordance
with Chapter 14.04 of the Municipal Code, as submitted
by the Director of Finance, and attached hereto as
Exhibit nB", is hereby adopted, and the charges will be
assessed on the City tax rolls and collected with the
regular municipal taxes. Pursuant to Chapter 14.04 of
the Municipal Code, the charges still constitute a lien
upon the respective parcels of real property in the
city of South San Francisco.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco at a requ]ar Meeting held on the 25th
Day of June , 1997 by the following vote.

Penna, Robert Yee and Mayor Joseph A. Fernekes
