CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION
CONTRACT FOR THE HILLSIDE BOULEVARD SIGNAL
INSTALLATION PROJECT TO STEINY AND COMPANY,
INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $193,746.00
WHEREAS, on May 28, 1997, the City Council approved the plans and specifications for the
Hillside Boulevard Signal Installation project and authorized staff to advertise for bids; and
WHEREAS, bids were received and opened on June 17, 1997; and
WHEREAS, the city desires to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, Steiny and
Company, Inc. in the amount of $193,746.00.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that it hereby authorizes an award of contract to Steiny and Company, Inc. in the amount of $193,746.00
for the Hillside Boulevard Signal Installation project.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco at a reclular meeting held on the 23Fd dayof duly ,
1997 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers James L. Datzman, Eugene R. Mullin,
Robert Yee and Mayor Joseph A. Fernekes
NOES: None
ABSTAIN:
Councilman John R. Penna
