CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AWARD OF
CONTRACT TO BASS ELECTRIC FOR AN AMOUNT NOT
TO EXCEED $64,767.00 FOR THE TENNIS DRIVE STREET
LIGHT IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT AND APPROVING A
BUDGET AMENDMENT TO THE 1997-98 CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP 98-5) TO INCREASE THE
ALLOCATION BY $15,000.00 FOR THE TENNIS DRIVE
STREET LIGHT IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the city desires to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, Bass Electric
for an amount not to exceed $64,767.00 and
WHEREAS, this project will install new poles, lights, underground wiring, and underground
services connection for the new street lights on Tennis Drive; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that it hereby authorizes an award of contract to Bass Electric for an amount not to exceed
$64,767.00 for the Tennis Drive Street Light Improvement project and approving a budget amendment to
the 1997-98 Capital Improvement Program (CIP 98-5) to increase the allocation by $15,000.00 for the
Tennis Drive Street Light Improvements with funding from the Gas Tax Fund.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco at a regkl] ar meeting held on the ?7t.h day of /hJgust ,
1997 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers James L. Datzman, Eugene R. Mullin, John R.
Penna, Bob Yee and Mayor Joseph A. Fernekes
