CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT IN THE
AMOUNT OF $421,788 TO COMMUNITY PLAYGROUNDS
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE AMERICANS WITH
DISABILITIES ACT PLAY AREA RENOVATIONS AT
SELLICK, BRENTWOOD, ORANGE, GARDINER AND
PARADISE VALI EY PARKS
WI-IEREAS, the City has been working with Robert Mowat Associates to design play area
renovations at Sellick, Brentwood, Orange, Gardiner, and Paradise Valley Parks to bring those parks into
compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act; and
WHEREAS, on April 23,1997 the City Council approved the project plans and specifications and
authorized advertising for bids for construction of the renovations; and
WHEREAS, Community Playgrounds was the low bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that it hereby approves awarding a contract in the amount of $421,788 to Community Playgrounds for
construction of the Americans with Disabilities Act play area renovations at Sellick, Brentwood, Orange,
Gardiner and Paradise Valley Parks.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a requ ] ar meeting held on the 24th day of
