CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF THE
1996-97 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
GRANTEE PERFORMANCE REPORT TO THE
DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN
DEVEI .OPMENT
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development requires entitlement
communities receiving Community Development Block Grant funding to submit a year-end programmatic
and financial report entitled the CDBG Grantee Performance Report; and
WHEREAS, it is a federal requirement that the Grantee Performance Report be made available
for public comment prior to its submittal to HUD; and
WHEREAS, the City's due date for submittal is September 26, 1997; and
WHEREAS, a notice of this Public Hearing was published in the South San Francisco Enterprise
Journal on Saturday, September 6, 1997;
WHEREAS, the Grantee Performance Report has been available in the office of Economic and
Community Development, City Hall, 400 Grand Avenue from September 17, 1997 for public review.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that the City Council hereby authorizes submittal of the 1996-97 Community Development Block Grant
Grantee Performance Report to the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a to. gu 1 a c meeting held on the 24~h day of
Sept ,1997 by the following vote:

Penna, Robert Yee and Mayor Joseph A. Fernekes
