RESOLUTION NO. 109-97
CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AWARD OF CONTRACT TO
G.E. CHEN CONSTRUCTION, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $4,728,000
FOR THE AIRCRAFT NOISE INSULATION PROGRAM - PHASE XV
WHEREAS, G.E. Chen Construction, Inc. of San Mateo is the low bidder, and has successfully
completed several previous phases of the Program; and
WHEREAS, this project is funded by our Memorandum of Understanding with the Airport.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco,
that it hereby authorizes an award of contract to G.E. Chen Construction, Inc in the amount of $4,728,000
for the Aircraft Noise Insulation Program - Phase XV. The City Manager is hereby authorized to sign the
contract.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a re§ular meeting held on the 8th day of
October ,1997 by the following vote.
AYES: Councilmembers James L. Datzman, Eugene R. Mullin, John R.
Penna, Robert Yee and Mayor Joseph A. Fernekes
NOES: None
