CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BUDGET AMENDMENT
(NO. 97-17) TO THE 1997-1998 OPERATING BUDGET
ADDING FUNDS FROM THE HOME INVESTMENT
PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM FOR SERVICES RELATED TO
FAIR HOUSING OBI.IGATIONS
WHEREAS, the City has received administrative funds from the HOME Investment Parmership
Program in the amount of $17,420; and
WHEREAS, it is proposed that the HOME Administration funds be allocated to community
agencies to expand the provision of legal services as required by the City's Fair Housing; and
WHEREAS, in order to allow for expenditures to be billed against the CDBG account, it is
necessary for said funds to incorporated into the 1997-1998 operating budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
as follows:
1. That it hereby authorizes budget amendment ( 97-17 ) to the 1996-1997 Operating Budget
to add $17,420 in administrative funds from the HOME Investment Parmership Program to expand the
provision of legal services related to Fair Housing obligations.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Franeisco at a regular meeting held on the 23rddayof April ,
1997 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Jim Datzman, Euqene R. Mullin, John R. Penna,
Robert Yee and Mayor Joseph A. Fernekes
