HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 32-1997 RESOLUTION NO. 32-97 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING THE DIRECTOR OF ECONOMIC & COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AS THE CERTIFYING OFFICIAL FOR THE CITY WITH REGARD TO REQUIRED ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEWS FOR FEDERALLY-FUNDED PROGRAMS WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development requires recipients of federal funds to assume responsibility for environmental review or action that would otherwise apply to HUD under the National Environmental Protection Act; and WHEREAS, federal regulations stipulate that an Entitlement Jurisdiction receiving CDBG Funds shall adopt a resolution designating a Certifying Official; and WHEREAS, it is recommended that the City designate the Director of Economic & Community Development as the Certifying Official with regard to required environmental reviews. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that it hereby designates the Director of Economic & Community Development as the Certifying Official. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 23rd day of ADri] , 1997 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Jim Datzman, Eugene R.
