CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE NAMING OF THE
NEWLY COMPLETED PARK ON EAST GRAND AVENUE
BETWEEN SYLVESTER ROAD AND GATEWAY

WHEREAS, on April 27, 1997 the City Council will dedicate the site in appreciation of former
Mayor Jack Drago for his vision and leadership to beautify South San Francisco; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Fernekes has requested approval from the full City Council to name the site
Jack Drago Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that it hereby authorizes the naming of the newly completed Park on East Grand Avenue between Sylvester
Road and Gateway Boulevard as Jack Drago Park.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Franeisco at a reqular meeting held on the 23rd dayof April ,
1997 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Jim Datzman, Eugene R. Mullin,
Robert Yee and Mayor Joseph A, Fernekes.
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
None
ABSENT:
John R. Penna,
