CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE IN THE
COMPENSATION FOR THE POSITION OF CITY
TREASURER
WHEREAS, the Council Subcommittee reviewed the compensation survey for the position of City
Treasurer; and
WHEREAS, after thorough consideration by the Subcommittee of the information presented, a
reconunendation is presented to increase the annual salary from $8,944 to $12,000; and
WHEREAS, the salary increase would become effective May 1, 1997.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that the compensation for the elected position of City Treasurer is increased from $8,944 to $12,000
annually effective May 1, 1997. All other employment benefits shall remain unchanged.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regu 1 a r meeting held on the 14th day of ~

AYES: Councilmembers dames L. Datzman, Eugene R. Mullin, dohn R.
Penna, Robert Yee and Mayor doseph A. Fernekes
