CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RF_SOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT FOR WEST PARK 1, 2,
& 3, GRANDVIEW COMMONS, STONEGATE RIDGE, WILLOW
GARDENS COMMON GREENS AND STREET MEDIANS
WHEREAS, the City solicited competitive bids for the maintenance of West Park 1, 2, & 3,
Grandview Commons, Stonegate Ridge and Willow Gardens Common Greens, and Street Medians; and
WHEREAS, the bids were received and opened on May 21, 1997; and
WHEREAS, Environmental Care Landscaping was the most responsive and responsible bidder.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco,
1. The Council hereby awards the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, Environmental Care
Landscaping, in the amount of $679,829.00, and authorizes the City Manager to sign the agreement with
Environmental Care Landscaping which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
2. The Council hereby reserves the right to hold all other proposals or bids until such time that
it is satisfied with the performance of Environmental Care Landscaping to a maximum of one (1) year.
I hereby cerffy that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a re§ular meeting held on the llth day of
dune , 1997 by the following vote.
AYES: Councilmembers James L. Datzman, Eugene R. Mullin, John R.
Penna, Robert Yee and Mayor Joseph A. Fernekes

ABSTAIN: Nnno
