CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO
THE 1997 CALLAN BOULEVARD RECONSTRUCTION
PROJECT IN THE AMOUNT OF $110,000. FOR
ADDITIONAL WORK AND AMENDING THE 1996-97
CAPITAl, IMPROVEMENT BUDGET
WHEREAS, the current Capital Improvement Program budget for the 1997 Callan Boulevard
reconstruction project is $620,000; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has requested additional work to be done by the
contractor that was not originally included in the project scope of work; and
WHEREAS, the additional work involves purchasing and planting 28 balled and burlapped
Chanticleer Pear trees in the median island.
WHEREAS, additional costs are also necessary related to purchase and planting of pear trees,
contingency, inspection and engineering cost, all of which totaling $110,000.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that it hereby authorizes an amendment to the 1996 -97 Capital Improvement Program Budget ( CIP 97-
22) adding 110,000. for the 1997 Callan Boulevard Reconstruction Project.
