HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 191-1996 RESOLUTION NO. 191-96 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION MODIFYING CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION 72-92 TO DELETE THE TRANSFER OF RIGHTS, DUTIES AND OBLIGATIONS FROM THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO TO THE CONFERENCE CENTER AUTHORITY RELATED TO THE GROUND LEASE FOR 255 SOUTH AIRPORT BOULEVARD WHEREAS, on July 8, 1992, the City Council of The City of South San Francisco adopted Resolution 72-92 authoring the transfer of rights, duties and obligations from The City of South San Francisco to the Conference Center Authority related to various contracts; and WHEREAS, one such contract involved the ground lease for the property at 255 South Airport Boulevard in South San Francisco; and WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to rescind the transfer of rights, duties and obligations related to the ground lease property at 255 South Airport Boulevard. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of South San Francisco hereby amends: Resolution 72-92 to delete the reference to the lease for 255 South Airport Boulevard between the City of South San Francisco and Josephine and Claudia Mayer. Be it further resolved that the Conference Center Authority, by Resolution, shall relinquish said rights, duties and obligations concurrent with executions of a lease between the South San Francisco Conference Center Authority and The City of South San Francisco. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a qD~a] meeting held on the 18th day of December , 1996 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Eugene R.
