CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
APPOINTING JAMES L. DATZMAN TO THE OFFICE OF CITY
COUNCILMEMBER
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code §36512, subdivision (b), the City
Council is authorized to appoint an elector of the City to fill the vacancy
that may exist on the City Council; and
WHEREAS, said vacancy does exist; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to fill the vacancy by method of
appointment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco hereby resolves that:
James L. Datzman is hereby appointed to fill the remainder of the term
for the currently-vacant City Council position. The remainder of the term is
through and including November 4, 1997. The appointment shall be effective as
of January 8, 1997.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
~p~cial meeting held on the 18th day of December ,
1996 by the following vote:
AYES: C0unci]members Eugene R. Mu]lin, John R. ?enna, Robert Yee
