CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANClSCO~ STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING BUDGET AMENDMENT NO. 97-11 TO AMEND
THE POLICE DEPARTMENT'S CURRENT BUDGET TO INCLUDE THE 48,204 THE
DEPARTMENT WILL RECEIVE UNDER THE LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT BLOCK
GRANTS PROGRAM FROM THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE,
BUREAU OF JUSTICE ASSISTANCE
WHEREAS, use of the LLEBG Program funds are precise and jurisdictions
who are awarded the funds must meet a 10% Matching Fund Requirement; and
WHEREAS, the matching funds will be transferred from our existing
Patrol Overtime account ~10-12720-4004 to the newly established special
project referencing account.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of The City of South
San Francisco that it hereby authorizes Operating Budget Amendment No. 97-11
to add 48,000 to the Police Department's budget for Fiscal Year 1996-97'
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South san Francisco at a
