CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION CONCERNING FUNDING FOR THE
PROPOSRD WESTBOROUGH SWIMMING POOL
WHEREAS, the Westborough Community Swimming Pool Fundraising and
Advisory Committee is seeking funds to construct a swimming pool in
Westborough Park; and
WHEREAS, the Parks & Recreation Commission has recommended that $150,000
of park in-lieu fees be made available for a three year period to assist the
committee in attracting outside funding; and
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that $165,000 will be obtained from the St.
Francis Terrace Subdivision.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that it hereby authorizes commencing February 1, 1997,
designating a reserve of $150,000 of park in-lieu fees for the proposed pool
in Westborough, subject to the following:
1. Only park in-lieu fees from the St. Francis Heights Sub-Division in
the Westborough area shall be so designated.
2. The designated money will only be available if and when the park in-
lieu fees are received from the developer.
3. If three million dollars is not raised by February 1, 2000 to
construct a swimming pool, the designated funds will revert back to the
general park in-lieu fee fund.

and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
requ]ar meeting held on the 8th day of January , 1997 by the
