CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A BUDGET APPROPRIATION OF $32,500 FROM THE
CONFERENCE CENTER UNDESIGNATED FUND BALANCE TO THE FY 1996-97 OPERATIONS
BUDGET TO FUND APPRAISER AND EXPERT WITNESS FEES RELATED TO THE
POTENTIAL PURCHASE OF THE CONFERENCE CENTER AND A CLASSIFICATION STUDY
FOR CONFERENCE CENTER EMP?.OYEES
WHEREAS, the City Council, on June 26, 1996, approved the budget
identified as the "Conference Center Fiscal Year 1996-97 Budget" in the amount
of $2,371,184 in revenue and $2,206,215 in expenditures and the budget
identified as the "Conference Center Fiscal Year 1996-97 Fund Balance and
Designated/Undesignated Reserves" in the amount of $92,500 in capital
expenditures, $60,000 in City of South San Francisco General Fund loan payment
expenditures, and $164,969 in designated reserves; and
WHEREAS, the Conference Center undesignated fund balance is $171,774;
and
WHEREAS, the Conference Center Authority, on January 23, 1997, approved
making a request to the City Council to appropriate $32,500 to the operations
budget from the Undesignated fund balance to fund appraiser and expert witness
fees related to the potential purchase of the Conference Center and a
classification study for Conference Center employees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco as follows:
1. The appropriation of $32,500 to the South San Francisco Conference
Center Fiscal Year 1996-97 operations budget from the South San Francisco
Conference Center undesignated fund balance to fund appraiser and expert
witness fees related to the potential acquisition of the Conference Center and
a classification study for Conference Center employees.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 12th day of February , 1997 by the
following vote:
