HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 130-1996RESOLUTION NO. 130-96 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET AMENDMENT NO. 97-1 TO THE 1996-1997 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT BUDGET TRANSFERRING $20,000 FROM THE GENERAL FUND UNDESIGNATED RESERVE BALANCE RELATING TO THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR LANDSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS AT HICKEY BOULEVARD AND EL CAMINO REAL WHEREAS, one of the goals of the South San Francisco Cultural Arts Commission is to improve the appearance of each of the major entrances to the City; and WHEREAS, recently the City approved a Shell Super Station Project at the corner of Hickey Boulevard and El Camino Real, a major entrance to the City; which includes landscaping and WHEREAS, it was understood that the owner of the station would have no additional financial obligation beyond his approved landscape plan; and WHEREAS, with this in mind the Cultural Arts Commission worked with the owner of the station in developing a mutually agreed upon landscaping program; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of South San Francisco as follows: 1. It hereby amends the 1996-1997 Operating Budget (No. 97-1) to transfer funds in the amount of $20,000 from the General Fund undesignated Reserve Balance to the to the 1996- 1997 Capital Improvement Program Budget for completion of this project. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regul ar meeting held on the llth day of September ,1996, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Joseph A.
