CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET AMENDMENT
NO. 97-1 TO THE 1996-1997 LIBRARY OPERATING
BUDGET TO SUPPORT THE SUMMER READING PROGRAM
FOR CHILDREN
WHEREAS, $500.00 has been donated to the City by Genentech, Inc. to
sponsor a Library Program on Dinosaurs and Their Young; and
WHEREAS, in addition $625.00 had been donated by Northern California
Grantmakers to offset the costs of recreational and sports equipment, arts and
crafts supplies and programming in support of the Library's Summer Youth
Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of South San Francisco that
it hereby authorizes the transfer of $1,125.00 from the Library Donation Fund
to the General Fund of the Library (OB-i) to support the Summer Reading
Program For Children.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the llth day of September
1996, by the following vote:
