HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 133-1996 RESOLUTION NO. 133-96 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET AMENDMENT NO. 97-2 TO THE 1996-1997 OPERATING BUDGET WHEREAS, it is recommended that the City Council approve an amendment to the 1996-1997 Operating Budget related to the following: (1) Possible acquisition of the Conference Center Property in the amount of $20,000. Funding to be transferred from the undesignated reserve fund to the City Attorney's budget.. (2) Legal expenses associated with handling the International Association of Fire Fighters v. City of South San Francisco lawsuit in the estimated budget amount of $2500. Funding to be transferred from the undesignated reserve fund to the City Attorney's budget. (3) Expenses associated with legal assistance to the Personnel Board and defense of Molieri Claim in the amount of $106,900. Funding to be transferred from the Self-Insurance Fund to the City Attorney's budget.. (4) Handling of the United Anglers claim and possible law suit in the amount of $30,000. Fund to be transferred from the Sewer Rental Fund to the City Attorney's budget. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of South San Francisco that it hereby authorizes the transfer of $159,400 to the City Attorney's budget from funds as indicated in Items 1 through 4. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the llth day of ~ppt~mb~r , 1996, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Joseph A.
