CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A BUDGET APPROPRIATION
OF $15,000 FROM THE CONFERENCE CENTER UNDESIGNATED
FUND BALANCE TO THE FY 1996-97 OPERATIONS BUDGET TO FUND
APPRAISERS' FEES RELATED TO THE POTENTIAL PURCHASE
OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 255 SOUTH AIRPORT BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, the City Council, on June 26, 1996, approved the budget identified as
the "Conference Center Fiscal Year 1996-97 Budget" in the amount of $2,371,184 in
revenue and $2,206,215 in expenditures and the budget identified as the "Conference
Center Fiscal Year 1996-97 Fund Balance and Designated/Undesignated Reserves" in the
amount of $92,500 in capital expenditures, $60,000 in City of South San Francisco
General Fund loan payment expenditures, and $164,969 in designated reserves; and
WHEREAS, the Conference Center undesignated fund balance is $147,635; and
WHEREAS, the Conference Center Authority, on September 5, 1996, approved
making a request to the City Council to appropriate $15,000 to the operations budget from
the undesignated fund balance to fund appraisers' fees related to the potential purchase
of the property located at 255 South Airport Boulevard.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco as follows:
1. The appropriation of $15,000 to the South San Francisco Conference Center Fiscal
Year 1996-97 operations budget from the South San Francisco Conference Center
undesignated fund balance to fund appraisers' fees related to the potential acquisition of
the property located at 255 South Airport Boulevard is hereby approved.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted
by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a requ] ar meeting held
on the 11th day of September ,1996, by the following vote:
AYES: Ceuncilmembers Joseph A. Fernekes, Eugene R. Mullin, John R.
Penna, Robert Yee and Mayor Jack Drago

ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: None
