CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
AN AGREEMENT WITH KAISER FOUNDATION HOSPITALS TO
PURCHASE THE PROPERTY ADJACENT TO THE CORPORATION
YARD, KNOWN AS THE MAGNOLIA RIGHT-OF-WAY
WHEREAS, the Magnolia Avenue right-of-way is required for better
circulation and additional covered parking for the Corporation Yard; and
WHEREAS, the current owner of the property is Kaiser Foundation
Hospitals; and
WHEREAS, the sale price of the land is $100,000; and
WHEREAS, the sale price was verified by staff with an appraisal by
Carneghi-Bautovich & Partners, Inc of $130,000, and
WHEREAS, funding for the acquisition is available in the Corporation
Yard Project budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
1. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the
agreement with Kaiser Foundation Hospitals to purchase the property adjacent
to the Corporation Yard, known as the Magnolia Right-of-Way and sign the
certificate of acceptance for the grant deed.
2. The City Clerk is directed to record the grant deed.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 25th day of September ,
1996 by the following vote:
