CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF THE 1995-96
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT GRANTEE PERFORMANCE
REPORT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN
DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development requires
entitlement communities receiving Community Development Block Grant funding to
submit a year-end programmatic and financial report entitled the CDBG Grantee
Performance Report; and
WHEREAS, it is a federal requirement that the Grantee Performance Report
be made available for public comment prior to its submittal to HUD; and
WHEREAS, the City's due date for submittal is September 30, 1996; and
WHEREAS, a notice of this Public Hearing was published in the South San
Francisco Enterprise Journal on Saturday, September 14, 1996;
WHEREAS, the Grantee Performance Report has been available in the Office
of Economic and Community Development, City Hall, 400 Grand Avenue from
September 23, 1996 for public review.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that submittal of the 1995-96 Community Development Block Grant
Grantee Performance Report to the Department of Housing and Urban Development
is hereby approved.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 25th day of September , 1996 by the
following vote.

Councilmembers Joseph A. Fernekes, Euqene R. Mullin, John R.
Penna. Robert Yee and Mayor Jack Draqo
