CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
BUDGET, CIP NO. 97-4, ADDING FUNDING FOR THE ADA
IMPROVEMENTS FOR PARK PLAY AREAS
WHEREAS, the City is required to comply with the Americans with
Disabilities Act; and
WHEREAS, Robert Mowat Associates has conducted a survey of the 17 play
areas within the City of South San Francisco for compliance with the Americans
with Disabilities Act; and
WHEREAS, the City has completed an ADA transition plan; and
WHEREAS, the City currently has available park-in-lieu fees and
redevelopment fees adequate for completion of play area renovations at
Sellick, Brentwood, Orange Park No. 1 Orange Park No 2, Gardiner Paradise
Valley Play areas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
The Capital Improvement Program, CIP No. 97-4, budget is hereby amended
by adding $270,000 from the park-in-lieu fees fund and $79,000 from
Redevelopment Fund for improvements at Sellick, Brentwood, Orange Park No. 1,
Orange Park No. 2, Gardiner and Paradise Valley play areas.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 9th day of October
1996 by the following vote:

and Mayor Pro Tem Joseph A. Fernekes
