CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A BUDGET PROPOSAL FOR THE BERTOLUCCI BUILDING AT
600 T,INDEN AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A GRANT AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the City desires to improve the appearance of buildings along
Linden Avenue;
WHEREAS, the Citizens Review Committee of the Commercial Rehabilitation
Program identified 600 Linden as a high priority for commercial
rehabilitation;
WHEREAS, the City and the property owner of 600 Linden have agreed on a
plan for improvements to the building located at 600 Linden Avenue;
WHEREAS, the owner has requested a CDBG grant in the amount of $10,000,
a CDBG matching grant in the amount of $25,000 and a CDBG loan in the amount
of $10,000;
WHEREAS, the total cost of the Improvements is estimated to be $70,000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
1. The City Council hereby approves the budget for improvements to
the Bertolucci Building at 600 Linden in an amount of $70,000, which will be
funded in part by a CDBG grant of $10,000, a CDBG matching grant of $25,000
and a CDBG funded loan of $10,000 payable in five years at zero percent
interest.
2. The City Council is authorized and directed to execute on behalf
of the City of South San Francisco a grant agreement consistent with the terms
set forth herein between the City of South San Francisco and the property
owner of 600 Linden Avenue, South San Francisco.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
reqular meeting held on the 9th day of October , 1996 by the
