HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 160-1996 RESOLUTION NO. 160-96 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROVING BUDGET AMENDMENT NO. 97-4 TO THE 1996-1997 OPERATING BUDGET TO INCLUDE THE $132,438.20 IN SUPPLEMENTAL FUNDS WHEREAS, it is recommended that the City Council amend the Police Department's Operating Budget for 1996-97 to include the $132,438.20 in supplemental funds: (1) To track expenditures, Fund 39 has been established for Supplemental Law Enforcement Services Fund (SLESF). (2) Because the officers will not be hired until mid year 1997, half of their salaries, overtime and portion of the training money will be encumbered in next year's budget. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that it hereby authorizes an amendment to the Operating Budget (No.97-4) for 1996-97 to add $132,438.20 for use by the Police Department to hire two Officers, to purchase two Mountain Bikes and for training and overtime for patrols. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a re§ular meeting held on the 13th day of November , 1996, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Joseph A.
