CITY COLTNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT AUTHORIZING THE
CITY/COUNTY ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS TO CONTRACT
DIRECTLY WITH THE MULTI-CITY TSM AGENCY TO IMPLEMENT
AB 434 TR3kNSPORTATION FUND FOR CLEAN AIR PROJECT; A/qD
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE SAME
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco desires to enter into an
agreement with the City/County Association of Governments ("C/CAG") and the
Multi-City TSM Agency ("MTSMA"), allowing C/CAG to enter into an agreement
directly with MTSMA for the implementation of a Voluntary Trip Reduction
Program using AB 434 FY 1996-1997 funds, a copy of which is attached hereto;
and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that the City of South San
Francisco enter into the above agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco, that:
1. The City Council hereby approves the agreement with the
City/County Association of Governments (~C/CAG") and the Multi-City TSM Agency
(~MTSMA"), allowing C/CAG to enter into an agreement directly with MTSMA for
the implementation of a Voluntary Trip Reduction Program using AB 434 FY 1996-
1997 funds.
2. The City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the
above-referenced agreement on behalf of the City of South San Francisco.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
regular meeting held on the 13th day of November ,
1996 by the following vote:

Councilmembers Joseph A. Fernekes, Eugene R. Mullin,
Robert Yee and Ma.vor Jack Drago
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT Councilmember John R. Penna
