CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONTRACT SERVICES AGREEMENT TO
DEVELOP DESIGN PLANS FOR ADA PLAY AREA RENOVATIONS AT
SELLICK, BRENTWOOD, ORANGE, GARDINER AND PARADISE VALLEY
PARKS
WHEREAS, the City Council approved a budget amendment for the renovation
of six play areas so as to bring them into compliance with the Americans with
Disabilities Act; and
WHEREAS, a request for proposal was distributed and five firms
responded; and
WHEREAS, after interviewing three (3) of the responding firms, the firm
of Robert Mowat Associates is being recommended to provide the services
necessary to develop design plans for the renovation project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that:
The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to prepare and
execute A Contract Services Agreement with Robert Mowat Associates firm to
develop design plans for ADA play area renovations at Sellick, Brentwood,
Orange, Gardiner and Paradise Valley Parks is hereby approved.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
re~u]ar meeting held on the 13th day of November , 1996 by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Joseph A. Fernekes, Eugene R. Mullin,
Robert Yee and Mayor Jack Draqo
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: C0uncilmember John R. Penna
