CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A CONSULTANT SERVICES AGREEMENT
WITH EQE INTERNATIONAL FOR COMPLETION OF THE PLAN~,
SPECIFICATIONS ~ COST ESTIM3kTES FOR SEISMIC UPGR3kDE
OF CITY HALL AND AUTHORIZING ADVERTISING FOR BIDS
BASED ON THE FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
WHEREAS, the City desires to seismically upgrade the City Hall Building
located at 400 Grand Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Council subcommittee has reviewed the options and proposals
submitted by EQE Engineering to seismically upgrade City Hall and to avoid
total relocation of City Hall staff;
WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into a contract with EQE
International for design of the retrofit proposal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco hereby authorizes the City Manager to prepare and execute
an Agreement with EQE International for a fee not to exceed $96,000 for the
seismic upgrade of the South San Francisco City Hall building located at 400
Grand Avenue.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that following completion of the design, the City
Council authorizes advertising for bids for the seismic upgrade project.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
~pecial meeting held on the 18th day of December ,
1996 by the following vote:
