CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY M3kNAGER TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT WITH KIMLEY-HORN AND ASSOCIATES FOR DESIGN OF
THE SPRUCE AVENUE TP~AFFIC SIGNAL INTERCONNECT PROJECT
WHEREAS, four firms submitted proposals for this project which will
interconnect the traffic signals on Spruce Avenue between Miller Avenue and
Mayfair Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the four controllers will be upgraded and these improvements
will reduce traffic delays on this corridor.
WHEREAS, funding of this project is included in the 1996-97 Capital
Improvement Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to
prepare and execute a Consultant Services Agreement in an amount not to exceed
$27,650 with Kimley-Horn and Associates for design of the Spruce Avenue
Traffic Signal Interconnect Project.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
special meeting held on the 1Rth day of December ,
1996 by the following vote:
