CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF THE 2009-10
CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFOIUVIANCE AND
EVALUATION REPORT ("CAPER") TO THE DEPARTMENT OF
HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT'.
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development ("HUD") requires
communities receiving Community Development Block Grarit ("CDBG") funds to submit ayear-end
Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report ("CAPER"); and
WHEREAS, in fiscal year 2009-10, a total of $601,793 in CDBG funding; $16,175 in HOME
funding received from the San Mateo County HOME Consortium; and $52,800 in South San
Francisco Redevelopment Agency funds were available for a broad range of community
development activities; and
WHEREAS, the CAPER has been available for public review in the office of Economic and
Community Development, City Hall, 400 Grand Avenue since September 1, 2010.
NOW, THERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to submit the CAPER and
execute all required documents for submittal to the Department of Housing an Urban Development.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 22°d day of
September 2010 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Richard A. Garbarino, and Mayor Mark Addie~o

ABSTAIN:
ABSENT: Councilmember Kar_yl Matsumoto and Vice :M;ayor Kevin Mullin.
