CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN
AGREEMENT WITH ALLIED INFORMATION AND
SERVICES CORPORATION TO PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE
AMBULANCE BILLING AND COLLECTION SERVICES
RECITALS
1. WHEREAS, as part of the Fire Department restructuring
proposal, it was recommended that the ambulance billing services be
provided more efficiently and with greater resources and expertise;
2. WHEREAS, the Fire Chief and the City Manager have
recommended approval of an agreement with Allied Information and
Services Corporation to provide ambulance billing and collection
services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco that:
The Mayor is authorized to execute on behalf of the City of
South San Francisco an Agreement between the City of South San
Francisco and Allied Information and Services Corporation to
provide comprehensive ambulance billing and collection services.
A copy of the Agreement is on file in the City Clerk's Office.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held on the llth day of
0ct0ber , 1995 by the following vote:
AYES: C~uncilmembers Jack Drago, John R. Penna, Roberta Cerri Teglia
and Mayor Robert Yee
NOES:
Councilmember Joseph A. Fernekes
