HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 3-1996t, II RESOLUTION NO. 3-96 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A ~ESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF A GRANT APPiSICATION TO THE BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN ADVi[SOR COMMITTEE (BPAC) FOR BICYCLE/PEDESTRIAN PRO,~ECTS IN SAN MATEO COUNTY WHEREAS, the Transportation Development Act (TDA), Article 13, provides funds for Bicycle/Pedestrian Projects in San Mateo County; and WHEREAS, Pedestrian A, Association o~ WHEREAS, Metropolitan T facilities for WHEREAS, and WHEREAS, funds: applications must be submitted to the Bicycle and ~visor Committee (BPAC) from the city/County Government of San Mateo County (CCAG); and if the projects are approved by the BPAC and the ~ansportation Commission, the City must maintain the the life of the improvements; and ~here is no required local match for the grant funds; the following projects will be submitted for these Alle]~ton Avenue Rubberized Railroad Crossing - Instltllation of a prefabricated rubberized railroad crosl~ing; Gate%,ay Boulevard Rubberized Railroad Crossing - Inst~.llation of a prefabricated rubberized railroad cros~ing; Oyster Point Boulevard Rubberized Railroad Crossing - Installation of a prefabricated rubberized railroad crossing; Juni~ero Serra Boulevard Bike Lane - InstaLlation of bike lanes on Junipero Serra Boulevard between Westborough Boulevard and Hickey Boulevard. Oyste~ Point Marina Bike Path - Installation of bike path at the southern edge of Oyster Point Marina. NOW, THERE]PORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South Francisco that submittal of the application to the Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisor Committee (BPAC) from the City/County Association of Government of San Mateo County (CCAG) and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission is hereby approved.
