CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING VACATION OF A 15' WIDE
PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT WITHIN AND ACROSS THE
PROPERTIES BETWEEN 206 AND 230 CLIFDEN DRIVE,
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
WHEREAS, ~the City Council having declared its intention to
abandon and vacate a fifteen foot (15') public utility easement
located across the property located at 206, 208, 210, 212, 214,
216, 218, 220, 222, 224, 226, 228 and 230 Clifden Drive, being
within the City of South San Francisco, California, described in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by reference made a part thereof,
pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9, (Section 8300
et seq.) of ~the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California, and the City Council having heretofore adopted
Resolution No.! 17-96 declaring its intention to abandon and vacate
the subject eaisement, and notice thereof having been given in all
respects for the period of time and in the manner required by law,
and the matter of abandonment and vacation having been heard before
the City Council at its regular meeting at the time and place fixed
therefor in the Resolution of Intention, and the City Council
having heard the protests and objections of all persons so
protesting or objecting, and having found that the herein described
easement without reservation is unnecessary for present or
prospective public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco, California as follows:
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED by the City Council of the City of
South San Franicisco, California, that the public utility easement
located at 206, 208, 210, 212, 214, 216, 218, 220, 222, 224, 226,
228 and 230 Clifden Drive, South San Francisco, described in
Exhibit "A" at~ached hereto and by reference incorporated herein,
be, and the same is hereby abandoned and vacated without
reservation.
A map of ~he public utility easement subject to vacation and
abandonment by this Order is on file in the Office of the City
Clerk of South San Francisco, California, and the map is hereby
referred to foir more particulars.
The City Clerk is hereby instructed to record this Resolution
of Vacation with the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo,
California.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 13th day of
March , 1996 by the following vote.

Lying Across A Portion of Lots 4 through 16, Block 24,
Winston Manor No. 2, South San Francisco, California,
described aS follows:
An Easement~fifteen (15) feet in width for Public Utility Purposes
lying across a portion of Lots 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14,
15, and 16, iBlock 24, as said easement, lots and block are shown on
that certain map entitled "WINSTON MANOR NO. 2, SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO,
SAN MATEO cOUNTY, CALIFORNIA", which map was filed for record on
May 28, 195t, in the Office of the County Recorder of San Mateo County
in Volume 33 of Maps at pages 28 and 29.
